Hello, my pretties. I’ll be back here in the new year, hopefully with some young, fresh talent helping me out (but you have to APPLY for that, people!), but until then, I’ll keep you up to date on what I’m doing over at Open Book Toronto, where I am Writer In Residence for November.
So far I have Questionless Books Interviews from:
- Publicity Pro Elana Rabinovitch
- Giller-nominated novelist Kathleen Winter
- Novelist and ‘Ninja alum Claire Cameron
- Literary photographer John W. MacDonald
- Novelist and Humber School for Writers Head Antanas Sileika
- Poet and journalist Lynn Crosbie
- Librarian Alexandra Yarrow
- Novelist and ‘Ninja co-Founder Peter Darbyshire
There are a few neat surprises coming. Check back here and/or check out OBT for more.

Writer in Residence! Congratulations.
Can anyone apply for Questionless Interviews, or
only people who want to blog here regularly? And
how regular is regular?
If everyone knows this except me, please disregard.

I’ve just asked a bunch of people to reply. It’s a good list and I’ve got 30 days to do it in!

i love this line by Antanas Sileika
“At his/her core, a Reader is… paradoxically someone who has turned away from the flutter of a late autumn leaf in the wind in order to read about the flutter of a late autumn leaf in the wind.”
