With regard to that “sound of glass” thingy…
I read somewhere that players of a ‘glass organ’, that is, various glasses filled with water, and tuned to play particular notes on the scale, you stroke their rims to evoke a note (much as you would at a dinner party to annoy your sister, Theo, i’m talking to you). Anyway, players of that ‘instrument’ often end up going mad. I wonder what playing this thing on your head does to you.

If i’m going to be totally honest. One of my writing samples turned up DFW. The other….. Dan Brown. sigh.
