George, great picks. I fully agree with you re: the merits of Kathryn’s book but maybe you should have disclosed that Kathryn is a member of your cabal of ninjas (flock of ninjas?)…just saying…

i’d recommend saul bellow’s “the adventures of augie march” & anne carson’s “the glass essay”…
