Authors Kevin Chong and Steven Galloway are nice guys. Not only are they occasional ninjas, they are also enjoying bashing the shit out of each other online. Galloway altered Chong’s Wikipedia entry and so it seems Chong responded by creating a nice, unicorn-themed MySpace profile for Galloway. At least I think that’s how it went down. Knowing these two, it could have been something they each did for themselves. I want to noogie them.

In fairness to Steven’s efforts, the MySpace page was revenge for an ‘I Heart Ferrets’ bumper sticker, now mysteriously attached to the back of Kevin’s car. The Wikipedia entry was just ensuring that all Chong-esque facts got collected in one place.

As legal council for Mr. Galloway, I can assure you that at no time falsely alter a Wikipedia entry, as that would represent a clear violation of Wikipedia policy. It is also common knowledge that Kevin Chong does “heart” ferrets, and that bumper sticker could have come from any one of a number of sources. As for the alleged unicorn site, if it should be found that Kevin Chong is behind this, my client intends to use all his rights under the law to rectify this slander against himself and unicorns.

Mr. Galloway needs that legal counsel.
Last spring I saw Galloway erasing a short story that Kevin Chong had written in grease pencil on the wall of the men’s toilet at Helen’s Grill.

My client assures me that the material he erased was not a short story. While it was indeed written by Mr. Chong, it was, Mr. Galloway felt, an invitation of an unsuitable nature for a public restroom, though he admits he doesn’t really understand what “research a breeding program with the Butterscotch Panda” means.
