See, you know how people complained that the term “chick-lit” was dismissive and insulting of a lot of women’s writing? “Chunk-lit”–way better.

This is nothing new – for many years I’ve been illustrating covers for a small publishing company in the US who specializes in romances & mysteries for BBW women, in fact, that’s the name of her publishing line: ‘BBW Books’. The author of one of the series I illustrated loved the character I drew for her so much, she had it tattooed on her back!! That’s taking the passion a tad too far, I think.
